Delizioso Italia Cibo
We started the day early---very early. Wide awake at 3:00am, we had a leisurely morning, which allowed Dawn to have fun creating a spreadsheet to keep track of all expenses. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast before heading to cooking class. Chef Andrea taught us how to make pasta with fresh tomato basil sauce, artichokes (which Dawn actually ate!), broccoli, chicken cacciatore, and to top it all off, a fabulous tiramisu! With Andrea's help (and lots of teasing) Jan reluctantly gave up her chicken salmonalia phobia. Of course it was all new to Dawn but Jan learned many new cooking tips too. She was in heaven while kneading the pasta dough! We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the experience to anyone who visits Rome. It made for a unique Rome experience.(www.cookingclassesinrome.com) Leaving newly made friends, we encountered a brief rain shower as we explored the area of Trastevere. Thinking the exercise would help us walk off the effects of a typical five-course Italian meal, we intended to walk the distance back to our hotel. However the streets of Rome, even with map in hand, are difficult to navigate. Though a few very helpful people tried to steer us in the right direction we ended up hailing a cab and happily arrived back at Residenza Cellini (www.residenzacellini.it).

Oh, and one more thing...
ReplyDeleteYou can change the size of your pictures and then they may not take so long to upload. On the post picture page it asks if you want it small, medium or large.
This may not solve your problem but it might!
